ESUSD District Office Modernization - Phase II
REQUEST FOR BIDS TO PERFORM SUBCONTRACTOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES
2H Construction is requesting subcontractor bids for the following project:
District Offices and Window Replacement Modernization Project
This is a Lease-leaseback project for El Segundo Unified School District consisting of a modernization of existing classrooms, offices and support spaces including, but not limited to: upgrades of utility service, casework, glazing, technology, interior/exterior finishes, lighting and electrical; and tactile signage per the bid specifications.

PRE-BID JOB WALK/SITE VISIT: The Project Staff will be available at the job site on Thursday, October 17th, 2024 at 1 PM for interested bidders to visit the site. The site address is 641 Sheldon Street, El Segundo, CA 90245. This is a non-mandatory site visit. All safety protocols shall be adhered to, to ensure health and safety for everyone present.
Per PCC 20111.6, all subcontractors holding a C-4, C-7, C-10, C-16, C-20, C-34, C-36, C-38, C-42, C-43, and/or C-46 licenses are required to be prequalified with El Segundo Unified School District and must submit a prequalification questionnaire to 2H Construction (10) days prior to the bid opening, if not already prequalified. All subcontractors holding these licenses are required to be prequalified (5) days prior to the bid opening.

Subcontractors must comply with general prevailing rates (PCC.1720 et seq.) and shall be registered with the DIR.CA.gov prior to submitting a bid (Labor Code 1725.5)
Each BIDDER shall be a licensed contractor in the classification as required for the work to be performed at the time of bid submission and must maintain the licenses throughout the duration of the project.

Notice of Request for Proposals
Food Service Contract Request for Proposals #24-007
Notice is hereby given that the Governing Board of the El Segundo Unified School District (hereinafter referred to as District) is requesting proposals for a Food Service & Procurement Consultant (Contractor) (hereinafter referred to as Respondent(s)) to assist with the District’s food service program.
Respondents should not construe from this legal notice that the Districts intends to enter into a fixed- price contract with the Respondent unless, in the opinion of the District, it is in the best interest of the District to do so. The District reserves the right to negotiate final contractual terms with the successful Respondent.

The District will record and provide answers to any questions or requests for clarifying information about the bid submitted by the deadline to acurran@esusd.net . The District will not consider questions received after the deadline.
The District will hold a Mandatory Tour of the District’s facilities on April 25, 2024. All potential Respondents must attend the Mandatory Tour in order to submit a proposal.
The District will accept all proposals received on or before May 5, 2024, 2:00pm. The District will not accept proposals that are received after the deadline. The District will open proposals in a closed meeting on May 8, 2024.
The District reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, and to waive any errors or corrections in a proposal or in the proposal process. The District will award the contract based on a review and analysis of the proposals that determines which proposal best meets the needs of the District. Following the review and analysis of all responsive proposals, the District will make a recommendation to the governing Board of Education at its regularly scheduled meeting.

NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
TO BE INCLUDED ON THE DISTRICT'S LIST OF QUALIFIED CONTRACTORS
PER SECTION 22034 OF THE PUBLIC CONTRACT CODE
Pursuant to Public Contract Code section 22030 et al, known as the California Uniform Construction Cost Accounting Act (CUPCCAA), The El Segundo Unified School District is creating lists of qualified contractors interested in performing public works projects for the District beginning January 2024 and continuing until January 2025.
This notice invites contractors that possess a valid Contractor’s License to submit their application available as a requirement to be prequalified for CUPCCAA projects.
