Special Education and Section 504
The El Segundo Unified School District is dedicated to providing students and the community with an optimum learning environment that prepares educated, productive, compassionate citizens to meet the challenges of a global society in the 21st Century. To this end, ESUSD offers a full continuum of services and supports to meet student need.
The Office of Innovation and Student Support Services is responsible for the leadership, administration, and supervision of student support which includes special education, Section 504, child welfare and attendance, and other student support services. The Office also supports schools in providing effective and innovative programs and services that prepare students for success in the 21st Century.
