REMINDER: This Friday, prospective families are invited to an informational session, followed by a tour of our high school campus! This is a great time to ask questions and learn more about what our high school programs have to offer your student.

March 28, 2023 Dear Families, We are deeply shocked and saddened by the tragedy that occurred yesterday at the Covenant School in Nashville, Tennessee. It is important to listen to your children as it’s very possible that they will learn about the shooting. Please know that, if your child has questions or concerns, our counselors are ready to assist. We encourage students to speak with a counselor or another trusted adult if they need any help processing the news. El Segundo High School invites prospective families to tour the campus! Join other families in front of the school on March 31 to participate in an informational session to learn more about our high school. The event will conclude with a tour of the campus.

At the March 14 Board meeting, West Basin Division IV Director Scott Houston recognized ESMS student Chloe Fitzgerald. Chloe's artwork was selected to be featured in a 2023 calendar that is distributed to over 13.000 households across Southern California! Well done Chloe!

We’re excited to celebrate Music in Our Schools Month! 🎶 ESUSD supports music education in our schools because it helps students succeed both academically and socially. It boosts brain power, helps with memorization, enhances motor skills, provides a creative outlet, and much more. We appreciate our hard-working music students and the educators who support them throughout the year!

Recently the ESUSD Board recognized ESHS sophomore Caleb Tsai for his significant musical accomplishments performing violin. He has found success in a variety of state, national and international events. Congratulations Caleb!

Our ESHS P.O.T.A.T.O.E.S. robotics team will compete at the FRC Los Angeles Regional event, March 16-19 at Da Vinci Schools. Good luck to all the members of our team! March 14 is Pi Day, in honor of the first three digits of pi and to commemorate the birthdate of Albert Einstein. Did you know pi has been calculated to 22.4 trillion digits, thanks to a computer? In honor of the day, try to see how many digits of pi you can memorize!
