Fire Prevention Week isn't just about home fires—let's stay safe outdoors, too. When handling fire outside, remember to:
✅ Never leave a fire pit or outdoor grill unattended.
✅ Keep a bucket of water or hose nearby when having a campfire.
✅ Make sure all fires are completely extinguished before leaving.
Enjoy the outdoors safely!

Child Health Day reminds us that fostering mental wellbeing in children can help them thrive. Here are a few ways to support their emotional health:
💚 Encourage daily journaling to express feelings
💚 Practice gratitude by reflecting on positive moments each day
💚 Set aside quiet time for relaxation or reading
💚 Help them build confidence by celebrating their achievements
Let’s support our kids’ mental wellness at school and at home. 🤝

On World Teachers Day, we want to take a moment to thank our educators for all they do. 🙏📚

Wellness Centers at ESMS and ESHS are intentionally designed to be calming and soothing spaces. One aspect of this is biophilic design that uses green spaces and plant life which have proven calming qualities.
In this photo, ESMS students gather in the ESMS Wellness Center known as the "Bulldog Den."

Back to School Night at El Segundo Middle School was a resounding success! We were thrilled to welcome so many parents and guardians to campus.
