✨Senior Success Story Spotlight ✨
Stephanie will be studying health science at Biola University, where she earned a full-ride scholarship and will play on the women’s water polo team. She is considering a career in nursing, but is open to other opportunities and pathways.
During her four years at ESHS, Stephanie was part of the Eagle Elite, played on the varsity teams for water polo and swimming, was a member of the Mental Health Club, was a Link Crew leader for two years, and participated in choir.

Nolan will play volleyball at Princeton University. His major is yet to be determined, but he is considering economics. Nolan has excelled academically and he has served as a leader to his peers both inside and outside the classroom. His extracurriculars include Elite, AP classes, volleyball team, basketball, and club volleyball.

Ima plans to study journalism at Spelman College while continuing to write her blog and becoming a certified personal trainer. She was drawn to the sense of community she felt while she was there. Ima leaves her high school career with a legacy of leadership and advocacy in the clubs and activities she was involved in to include the AVID program, Eagle Elite, Mental Health Movement Club, Black Student Union, and the girls’ volleyball team.

Malia will attend LMU this fall to major in civil engineering. She was an honor roll student and active in a diverse variety of clubs and extracurriculars. Utilizing and thriving in the Engineering pathway as ESHS, Malia gained connections and knowledge to receive an internship at Boeing, focusing on electrical engineering and working on radio frequency antennas. She fondly reflects on the friendships she made while collaborating on technical projects with classmates.

ESHS Engineering and Physics students Malia, Connor, Dylan, Volodymir, and Mario earned 1st place in the 2023 Herndon Science Competition! The event was hosted by the Aerospace Corporation and the US Air Force.
Their project, AQUARIUS, is an autonomous drone engineered to explore and collect data from extraterrestrial bodies of water.
A big shout-out also goes out to Harper, who received a 3rd place award in the Essays category.
