After the sun sets, the houses along East Acacia Avenue come alive with bright lights and holiday cheer. You can visit the light displays every night from now until December 23.

El Segundo Middle School students learned to express their creativity and personality through artwork! 🎨
Insa Kasai’s art and photography students learned how to draw a realistic human eye, then created their own surrealist versions of it. The talent of our students never ceases to amaze us!
You’re invited to A Jolly Good Time at the El Segundo Public Library!
Tonight from 6:30 to 8:00pm, all ages are welcome to gather in the Sue Carter Community Room for crafts, refreshments, and seasonal music. Come make an ornament or greeting card! 🎄☃️
Please note: Children 8 and under must be accompanied by an adult caregiver.
Tonight is the City of El Segundo’s 2023 Menorah Lighting! 🕎
The menorah lighting ceremony will begin at 5:30pm at City Hall Plaza. There will be potato latkes, jelly donuts, gifts for kids, Hanukkah music, and dancing.
All are welcome to attend the festival of lights! 🕯️
The Spark of Love Toy Drive is coming to a close!
The El Segundo Fire Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys and sports equipment for children and teens across the South Bay. Over the past 30 years, this annual drive has distributed over 9 million toys! 🧸🏓
The LAST DAY to donate is Thursday, December 14. Get your donations in now!

Santa Claus is coming to town! 🎅
Starting tonight, Santa Claus will visit El Segundo to meet families and hand out candy canes. He will make appearances on December 11-14 and December 18, from 5:00 to 8:30pm. When you hear the sirens, go say hi to Santa Claus!
Santa’s Sleigh is an annual event hosted by the Police Officers' Association in partnership with the Kiwanis Club of El Segundo.

The El Segundo Recreation, Parks & Library Department proudly presents, “Joy Around the World: Festival of Holidays and Tree Lighting!” 🎄
This annual festival commemorates winter holidays from across the globe, including Christmas, Diwali, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Nochebuena, and Ōmisoka. There will be crafts, kids’ train rides, and a visit with Santa Claus, along with cultural performances and food trucks offering diverse cuisines.
The festival begins TODAY at 3:00pm at City Hall Plaza and the 300 block of Main Street. The tree will light up at 5:30pm. Free and open to the public! ❄️
