ESHS participated in the Great Shake Out Drill on October 17, conducting a full drill complete with drop, cover, and hold practice, evacuation, triage, and search and rescue.
Practice creates calm in the event of a real earthquake, and the ESHS Eagles soared in their preparedness! 💯




Custodial, M&O, Food Services and Classified Administrative staff were recently trained on the Graduate Profile!
Staff left understanding what the Graduate Profile is, why we have it, and how it is reflected in their positions. It was also a morning of camaraderie and getting to know new staff!

ESHS Senior Cadee Baird was recently recognized by the LA Suicide Prevention Network as the recipient of the 2024 LASPN Dr. Elaine Leader Hero for Outstanding Youth Award, in recognition of Cadee’s extraordinary leadership, perseverance, and advocacy in suicide prevention.

Preschool students recently took a Caruso stroll through RSS to the library for a visit. They were warmly welcomed by staff as they toured the library and heard a story. It was a great experience and they hope to return soon!

ESHS Coach Megan McCann was recognized as the @chargers & @cifstate Girls Flag Football Coach of the Week! 🏈🏆
Coach McCann recently led the team to a thrilling 32-31 victory over North Torrance, securing a second place Pioneer League finish and guaranteeing a playoff spot in the team’s inaugural season.
