Dear ESUSD Parents and Community, The tragic school shooting that occurred in Parkland, Florida yesterday likely has students, staff, and parents returning to school with a heightened sense of alertness or anxiety about school safety. These violent and senseless events naturally and appropriately evoke feelings of grief for those affected and concern for the safety of our own communities should such an event ever occur in El Segundo.
