The El Segundo High School P.O.T.A.T.O.E.S. robotics club participated in a California Region 4 VEX Robotics competition on Saturday, November 19! Team 1759A came home with the DESIGN award in the competition, which featured teams from throughout Southern California.
The VEX Robotics Competition is the largest and fastest-growing middle and high school robotics program in the world, with more than 20,000 teams from 50 countries taking part in over 1,700 competitions worldwide. Each year, a complex engineering challenge is presented in the form of a game. Students, with guidance from their teachers and mentors, build robots to solve each challenge.
Congratulations to our talented and hard-working students on this award!
